Nicole gently closed her pearly white Apple Laptop and took a deep breath. She had just finished an hour long conversation on the schools chat room with Mason. Their flirting was becoming blatantly obvious and Nicole could ignore the attraction she felt for the senior no longer. She had lied on the chat room and told Mason that she had been swamped with work and that is why she hadn't seen him, but that wasn't the case. Nicole didn't want to see him because she knew that she wouldn't be able to control herself. Her feelings for him were undenible and now that Mason was single, there was really no need to hide them anymore. Plus, Nicole was pretty positive Mason had feelings for her too. Or atleast he acted like he did.

Nicole sighed, reached behind her head and pulled her hair out of a pony tail. She let her gorgeous blonde hair fall gently over her shoulders and she smiled. Nikki reached for red cell phone and flipped it open. She went through her contact list till she hit "Mason" on the list. She sent him a text saying: "Hey Mason, can you come over? We need to talk". And hit send without second guessing herself. No guy ever wanted to hear the words "let's talk" coming from a girl, but Nicole had to say it. They did need to talk. Because Nicole couldn't avoid Mason forever and if he returned any of the feelings she was experiencing, she'd like to know.

Nicole got up from her computer desk chair and walked to the other side of the room. She stood before her mirror and gently brushed her wavy blonde hair to smooth it out. She was dressed in a pair of jeans and light blue t-shirt. Nikki loved wearing these relaxed clothes after spending all day in dresses and other attire while modeling. She loved doing it, but missed the comfort of wearing jeans and t-shirts to school. Nicole put down her brush and walked over to her bed. She sat down and stared at her phone. Mason hadn't responded, but she was hoping he'd show up anyway. He said he missed her so she was almost positive he'd come. And if not, well, Nicole would be waiting for a long time.

[/b] before putting his phone away. He really wanted to see Nicole if you wanted to know the truth. He felt as if he was being avoided but maybe it was his own personal mind wondering off to somewhere else. All he knew is that it's definantly true when he says he wants to see Nicole. He's the second girl he's ever liked, and to him, that's a good thing.

No one had ever been on his mind so much like Nicole's been. They were in the school's chat room earlier in the day and the flirting between them was undeniable. Mason couldn't believe how much he liked this girl, it was just some attraction that he knew he never had with any other girl, not even his exes. He had feelings for Nicole and that was for sure. He wanted to take them further but he didn't want to freak Nicole out. Sure she flirted back, but it doesn't mean that she for sure likes him the way he likes her. It was one of those weird friendships, they were best friends and it turned into devoloping feelings. Mason couldn't really help it, with the way that they always hung out, it honestly just happend. He's happy it happend though, he enjoys the feelings he has for Nicole. If they were out together, Mason would slip up and his hand would slide into Nicole's, and they would end up holding hands for the rest of the time their out and they wouldn't even notice it. That's how bad the feelings have gotten, but Mason likes it. He loves to hold hands and be romantic, and he'd do it with Nicole all the time if he could.

As he left the lake, Mason was excited to finally be on his way to Nicole's place. He couldn't wait to see the beaming smile she always had on her face, it was something that he really couldn't go a day without seeing unless he had to. It took about ten minutes to get from the lake to Nicole's place, and after he did, he parked in her driveway before getting out. His keys slid themselves from his hand to his back jeans pocket, and he made his way up to Nicole's door. He stayed silent for a few seconds, thinking about if he should knock or not. He didn't want to disturb anyone if anyone was at home with Nicole. Mason looked around for a few seconds, and he finally knocked lightly on the door. His breath caught in his throat, and he bit on his lip as he looked around. He got nervous all of a sudden, what happend? Maybe it was because he and Nicole hadn't seen each other in a while and she said they had to talk...Wait. That was exactly it. Mason was nervous of what she wanted to talk about...It's okay though, isn't it? It'll be okay. Or, Mason hoped so, at least.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Nicole was wandering down her upstairs hallway just when she heard a knocking on her front door. Her heart stopped and she looked at the steps. She knew it was Mason; he had finally responded saying he was coming. But did Nicole really want to do this? Did she want to lay out her feelings and have them be crushed? Mason would never intentionally hurt her, but if he didn't like her in return she'd be crushed no matter what. Nikki took a deep breath and then jogged down the steps. She was fast for a girl, and small frame seemed to float down the wooden stairs. Nicole was home alone, as she usually was, for her parents were very busy people. She felt a huge knot in her stomach as she twisted the golden knob around and pulled open the door.

"Hey, Mason," Nicole said, her normally bubbly personality noticeably absent. She bit down on her tongue and turned away from the boy and walked into her house. "Thanks for coming over, I really want to talk to you," Nikki added, still not looking at Mason. She reached the bottom of her staircase and spun around, her blonde hair flying with her. She looked right into Mason's eyes and it was like seeing him for the first time all over again. Mason had to have been one of the hottest guys at school, easily. He was such a talented actor and that matched with his looks made for an epic combination. His smile and eyes could easily melt any girls heart and right now it was melting Nicole's. It took everything in herself not to just kiss him right then and there. There were boundaries she couldn't cross, she had to act human.

"Look, Mason..." Nicole began, walking right through him and toward the kitchen. The walked at a fast pace but heard him following behind quickly. She strutted around her island in the her kitchen, not sure what exactly she was doing. When she was nervous she had to be moving, or posing, or something. Anything to take all the frustration she was feeling out in movements rather then in her heart. She walked into the family room and was cruising herself. Mason probably thought she was a freak by doing this, but she could not help herself. It was like someone else was in her body and controling her. "I really need to tell you something, it's been driving me crazy," the blonde finally said, bending over to fix a stack of magazines on her coffee table. She locked eyes with Mason once more and then moved back to the kitchen.

"You're going to laugh, or something, but if I don't tell you know I don't think I ever will," Nicole said, laughing to herself slightly, realizing how crazy this whole thing is. "Ma---" Nicole began, before spinning around and bumping right into Mason's chest. They were face to face now, Mason only being a little bit taller then her. Still, his height was attractive. Nikki was caught now, and she could no longer run around in her little maze. She had to stand still and tell Mason what she was feeling. Or, better yet, show him. Without saying another word, Nicole reached up and grabbed the back of his head and passionately kissed his lips. It was just a peck at first, but then she went for another, and another. God she was in love. She had been waiting for that for so long that she didn't want to let it go. She loved the feeling of his lips against hers and her hands running through his gorgeous head of hair. Everything seemed...perfect. Two best friends becoming lovers, it was cliche but hell, call Nicole Queen of Cliche. She wanted to be with Mason more then anything in the world right now.

"I like you Mason, I really...really like you," Nicole said when she finally broke away. She refused to stop eye contact, though. Being a model, Nicole had learned to express everything she was feeling through her eyes. She didn't need to smile or cry or look down in shame, everything she was feeling went through her eyes. And right now, her eyes were sparkling. She felt so alive and her heart was beating faster then it ever had before. Something about Mason made her pulse race and her body feel hot. She wanted more then this. She wanted to call Mason her boyfriend, finally. But it would all depend on if he liked her or not. She had doubts. The kiss was certainly hot, but maybe all it was for Mason was a kiss. Maybe he'd just hook up with her and move on. Nikki could not deal with that. She had real feelings for the guy, and as hot was a night with him would be she wanted more then a night. She wanted a relationship. She wanted to get to know him and be there for him, always. She was never so sure of anything in her life. "And I only hope that you feel the same way I do," Nicole finally said on an exhaled breath. There- her feelings were all out in the open. The next move had to be made by Mason; the ball was out of her court.

[/color] Mason said, as he stepped into the house. His vision followed hers, even when it left momentarily. "No problem, Nicole...You know i'd come anytime you need company." Replied Mason, with his cool, yet charming smile. He really would. He cared about Nicole, and it showed. His feelings for her grew everyday. The flirting that was becoming incredibly obvious was making the feelings harder for Mason to cope with. He had to say something sooner or later, because if he didn't, he would explode and just blurt them out. She was gorgeous in his eyes, and to be honest, he just wanted to be in a relationship with her. What everyone else thought didn't matter to Mason, at all.

Biting on his lip, becoming more nervous then he was before, Mason followed Nicole when she began to walk into the kitchen, obviously waiting for her to finish what she started to say a few seconds ago. At this point, he just wanted her to come out with it, and to not beat around the bush. Seriously, he didn't like that at all but he could tolarate it with Nicole. Apperently this had to be more serious then he really thought, she seemed like she would pass out if she didn't get whatever was off her chest off soon. "Yeah?" Mason asked, his eyes locked on Nicole for a second time. "What is it? You know, you can tell me anything. I'm not gonna judge you," He replied. He was never the type to just anyone, especially Nicole. Not when he had the feelings that he has. He liked her. A lot, and Mason thought it was a little bit crazy that the feelings he had were so obvious, that his friends knew it right off the bat when he even said something remotely close to Nicole.

Mason's eyes kind of popped out of his head when Nicole said he would laugh at what she was about to say, and his head immediently shook in responce. "What? No, I won't laugh. I would never laugh, at anything you say." He said. He stayed silent for a few seconds, until his arms caught Nicole when she turned around into his embrace. They were face to face, though Mason had to look down at Nicole just a bit. He found that cute, though, their height. Their staring at each other was becoming intense, and to be honest, Mason just wanted to lean Nicole against the kitchen table and have his way with her. Their gazes just spoke for the two of them, they wanted each other and it couldn't be showing any better at this point. Though he was surprised when her lips pushed against his, he quickly pushed that feeling away and he let his lips return against hers. It was such a sexual tension type of kiss, Mason couldn't really contain himself. Resting his hands on her cheeks, their kiss got deeper, and Mason couldn't help but smile throughout it. This was something he's wanted for the longest time. Since he really first met Nicole, to be honest. He liked her right off the bat, and now, this had to be the start of something for the two of them.

Still in shock as their lips parted, Mason's gaze never left Nicole's. They were sharing a good moment right now and Mason didn't want it to end. He would keep it going for the night, that was for sure. A resurrecting smile returned on his lips, and he nodded, slowly. "I'm flattered..." He whispered. He mentally freakin' slapped himself for starting his sentance off like that. He didn't want to send Nicole the wrong message, he definately was going to let her know his feelings now that all of hers were out in the open. He watched her body language for a few seconds, his hands slowly leaving her cheeks. "And, I want to thank you for being able to let me know...I like you, too. A lot. It's actually getting hard for me to be around you, knowing that we're only friends..." Mason finished. That had to have been the only way he could let her know that he felt the same. That, and the fact that what he said was true. It really was getting hard for him to be around her because they were only friends. This was it, he knew he was ready for another relationship, and this time, he wanted to make it last. He was going to show Nicole that he was sure about this, that this was really what he wanted.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Nicole's heart dropped when Mason said he was flattered. She was waiting for the "but". She knew it was coming. She took a few steps away from Mason and wanted to run into her room, but she had to be stronger then that. She took a deep breath and right when she was about to say something when Mason interuppted her. Her breath came back to her when he said he liked her too and she instantly took a step back toward him. "Don't do that to me again," Nicole laughed, playfully slapping his muscular chest. "It's getting really hard to be around you, too" Nicole said, telling the truth. Right now she wanted nothing more but to put her tounge down his throat and lead him to up to her bedroom. There was obvious sexual tension between the too and the best part was they really liked each other. Mason was not lying, Nicole knew he was. She could tell the boy had real feelings for her and that brought her beautiful smile back to her face.

"I don't want to be friends anymore, Mason," She said grabbing on to both his arms. She took a deep breath and looked up into his eyes; her weak point. It didn't matter though, she had already broken down her wall and let Mason know everything she was feeling. "I...want to be your girlfriend. I really want to be there for you and help you and learn everything about you and...just be myself around you. You're the only one who really gets me, and I love it," She said, leaning up and kissing his cheek softly. She was honestly surprised she had just said all of that. Nicole was never one to spill out her feelings, especially in front of a guy. Nikki could shed all her clothes and pose in front of a mega pixel camera and a bunch of old men, but this was different. Nicole was comfortable with her body and loved modeling. But putting her real, raw feelings on the line for a boy who was her best friend was a whole other ball game. Nikki was almost proud of herself for doign that, and she was pretty sure Mason would respond positively.

"So...what do you say Mr. Waters?" Nicole asked, cuddling closer to his chest. He smelled so good and Nicole closed her eyes and let it fill her body. It made her heart feel warm and beat a little faster then it already was. She wanted him. Badly. She wanted to be his girlfriend, be with him, and be the girlfriend he needed and deserved. She had a few small relationships before but she had never felt so strongly about a boy until she met Mason. Now, here she was in her kitchen pressed up against him. Who would have thought she would have ended up her. Back in Miami a lot of guys liked her, but none of them were as genuine as Mason was. They just wanted to get with her. Nicole believed Mason had true feelings for her. "Will you be my boyfriend?" she finally added, looking up and him with her gorgeous shinning smile. It was all or nothing now.

[/color] He said, returning his smile, making sure it stayed displayed on his lips this time. He knew she loved to see him smile from previous conversations that they've had before, so he kept that in mind as they continued their conversation. He could tell she was telling the truth when she talked about her own feelings, and he just listened. He could do that all day if he had to, honestly.

As Mason realized in that moment that Nicole had broken down her privacy wall to let him invade, he got a pang inside about earlier in the week with Attie. He hooked up with her just a couple of nights before, and he knew that Nicole was bound to find out at some point. He didn't want to hurt her know that all of their feelings were beginning to spill out like this. Right now definately wasn't the time to tell her what he did. "I don't want to be friends anymore, either..." He started, as he continued to listen to her speak. When her second sentance was spoken, Mason began to perk up. Finally, she had said something that he'd been waiting to hear since the entire time they've been friends, and he nodded. "I love how we can connect with each other, it's just...It's awesome. I've never had someone like that in my life before, and you being my girlfriend would just...make me happy." He said. Good, now everything was out in the air. They'd just have to realize where to go from here, right now.

Every type of sensation went through Mason's body as he began thinking, and her kissing his cheek just made them go wild even more. Everything she did made him happy. Now, at this moment, he really just wanted her to himself. He looked down at her as she finished speaking, and he just gazed at her eyes. Wow, they were beautiful. She was beautiful...Everything about her was beautiful and he didn't hesitate to answer the question she had been dying to know the answer to. "I'll be your boyfriend...If you'll be my girlfriend," He whispered, continuing his gaze at her eyes. Yes, finally. This was a relationship he definately wanted to be in. He had real feelings for this girl and he wanted to take it further. If she said yes and agreed to his statement, they would finally be the couple that they both really want to obviously be, and Mason would seriously get so much more happier once she says the answer he's hoping for. He's so ready for a new relationship with someone he's already built such a good friendship with.

Such a sexual tension, they had. Mason seriously didn't know what it was, but he liked it. He really did. Maybe it was because of all the feelings they had for each other, or just the fact that they've been waiting so long to be in a relationship with each other. Mason's been out of a relationship for the past couple of months, and hooking up with someone has just been his last resort. If he gets a correct statement from this girl in front of him, the hooking up would immidently stop. He was so ready for this relationship and he was going to show her just how serious he really was about it. He was never as serious before, and he really thinks that Nicole is to help with that. She's not afraid to tell him as it is if he's getting too perky with his attitude and it turns him on how independant she can be with any type of situation. She's definately not a little girl and Mason loves how she can take such good care of herself. Ava just wasn't a good example of who he wanted to be with, regardless of his feelings or not. Nicole on the other hand? Definately a good example.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
