HrOSounds fair, take a person at face value, or in this case, word value.

HrOA person I once knew would get frustrated while talking over texts or online because she could never tell what a person was implying or if something was meant to have a tone to it. Whichever you believe works better when you talk to someone. Can you tell more by the substance of the words or the little inflections and facial ticks of the spoken word and the face of the person?

But if you chat with someone and you ain't face to face, you don't have to deal with trying to remeber them, their names or what they say.

HrOEmoticons were never a favorite of mine either. And true, a person is compacted into a just a window on a computer screen. Hard to believe it's a real person sometimes.
