"Hey Jonah, i'm writing a column about this year's seniors and I would love to interview you. Do you think you can spare me a minute or two?"
"Yeah, sure, anything for a fan."
"Awesome. First question, is Jonah your real name?"
"Actually Jonah is my middle name. My real name is Jeremy, but no one calls me that except my mom... and maybe my little sister."
"Your sister, she goes here right?"
"Yeah, she's a sophomore. Her name is Jenny, and she's studying to be a photographer."
"And you're studying music I believe. What is your instrument?"
"Yes, music is what I am studying. I eat, sleep, and dream drums."
"Nice pick, so are you in a band?"
"I'm between bands right now. My previous band just split up about some argument I got in with the lead singer."
"What happened between you and him?"
"I'm not comfortable telling you. Can we move onto the next question?"
"What was his name?"
"No, really just forget it."
"Fine. What about your love life? I've noticed you haven't had a girlfriend in over a year. What's the deal with that? I mean you're a good looking boy, I bet you have to fight off the girls at school."
"I've gotten hurt real bad in the past, so I like keeping things casual."
"You're not gay are you?"
"Uh-"
"I'm just messing with you. I bet keeping things casual with girls make it easier to party. Are you a partier Jonah?"
"Yeah, I like going to parties and getting chocolate wasted, if you know what I mean."
"Do you get "chocolate wasted" often?"
"Oh you know, just as much as everyone else. On the weekends or nights when I do not have to get up at the butt crack of dawn to go to school."
"You must have some life. What do you do when you're not out getting chocolate wasted, playing the drums, or attending school?"
"I like shooting hoops at the park and working out at the gym."
"You do look really fit."
"I'm sorry, but I don't see how any of this information will help you write your paper."
"Oh, believe me, it's enough. Thank you for your time."
Jonah is the stereotypical guy who appears as if he's got everything under control but he doesn't. He is most known for being the carefree, goofy little brother who you can't get rid of but in an odd way kind of like at times. Most people like to believe he's their pick-me-up when they are feeling down because even when things look gloomy for Jonah, he still is happy go lucky. However, hidden underneath layers and layers of happiness lie those skeletons in his closet. You may have to dig really deep, but they are there.
Breaking up of the band has been real harsh on Jonah. It wasn't that they weren't going anywhere. They had just got offered a record label with a pretty well known record company. All they had to do was create an album. It was up to the lead singer, Cody, and Jonah to write the lyrics. Endless hours were spent on coffee and sleepless hours at Cody's house where they brainstormed and wrote lyrics together. At first they were only messing around, but insomnia took over and they started to get a little frisky towards each other, Cody more than Jonah. Cody had came onto Jonah one night after seventy two hours straight working. Jonah didn't know what to do, so he just went along. The first couple of times were a bit awkward and weird, but eventually the two of them became inseparable.
When the album finally finished, the band was ecstatic to hear they were going to go on tour the summer before senior year. As each day lagged on and grew closer to the tour, Cody started to become distant from Jonah. When confronting Cody, he denied everything and kicked Jonah out of the band. Confused and heartbroken, Jonah was left with nothing but his lousy set of drums. After Cody kicked him out of the band, it wasn't long until the rest of the band split up. Now Jonah isn't sure what he likes. Before Cody, he never doubted his attractions towards them, but now, he's not sure which gender he prefers.
