 THE HISTORY;
thorne was born on july 29, 1989. she grew up loving her mom more. but when she was eleven, thorne's mother died in a car crash. thorne was devastated even more than you'd expect her to be -- isabel wasn't only her mother, but also her mentor and her best friend. her only friend. it wasn't until she was sixteen that she discovered her love and talent for music. she began to write her own songs when she was around seventeen. music is the one thing that she can love without worrying about it; music will never leave her or die on her like people always seem to do. she believes that friendship and love are useless. this might be because people she cares about keep dying or leaving her. thorne doesn't have good luck with caring for people.
THE PERSONALITY;
she doesn't look like a thorne, not at first glance. but you'll see it, eventually -- especially if you happen to get on her bad side. her sparkling brown eyes are unforgiving, and her soft, smooth skin hides rippling muscles. she won't hesitate to hurt someone who pisses her off: not just physically, but emotionally, if she has the means to do so. sometimes, people think she's insane, especially if they see her back home in vancouver, british columbia, canada -- where she'll go to the cemetery, lean against her mother's headstone, and talk to thin air. thorne likes the fact that people can be afraid of her. she can be scary; her ice-cold gaze can kill, and she can come off as cold and bitchy to people who don't take the time to even try to get to know her better. she's guarded and afraid to care for people, which explains why she acts like she doesn't. after all, she loved her mom more than anything else in the world, and her mom died. and since then, people seem to leave her the second she admits, even to herself, that she cares about them.
THE NEEDS;
what thorne needs and what thorne wants are two very different things. it's hard for her to show that she cares for someone, especially since she's mainly just afraid to care. she won't even admit her fear to herself, though. she's gorgeous, so of course girls will be jealous of her looks and guys will be drooling over her. that just comes with being gorgeous like thorne is. but thorne isn't altogether interested in friendship or love. at least, that's what she tells herself. so she's going to need some people that can be counted as at least half-friends, because she doesn't think she has any real ones. people that she scares the crap out of, or that have done something wrong, or generally wouldn't get along; they'd fall under enemies. and then there will be all the guys who crush on her constantly and trip over their own feet trying to get her to go out with them. eventually, she'll need a guy who can maybe teach her that it's okay to love someone. that not everyone is going to die on her or walk away.

hmm... could be amusing. i know nothing about guitar, though, so we'd probably need to skim over the parts where she's actually teaching. what would happen? maybe alexis might get all frustrated and go to throw the guitar or something. thorne would be like "WHAT THE F*** ARE YOU DOING!!!" and that would make her very unpleased with alexis... what say you? is that realistic?

Yes sounds great, and maybe we could request a character that Alexis likes and then Thorne goes of with even though she knows Alexis likes him, and Alexis trys to get revenge - just to add a bit more kick?  |
