so... whenever thorne starts to let someone in, they go and ruin it. even though you can't tell in this song she wrote, "flat on the floor" -- she's psyched herself into thinking that it's all her fault, every single time. which is ridiculous -- she just has horrible luck with guys. me thinks she needs a guy for this song, because it's an awesome song and it'd be fun.
so this guy, probably a junior or a senior, he can be majoring in whatever you want -- as most bad boys do, he started out being pretty close to perfect. and then, right when thorne started to care about him, everything went up in flames. he started always pushing her down, making her cry, forcing her to feel small and insignificant. when she started to avoid him, he became sort of like a minor stalker to try and get her back -- see, he did love her, he just had a really weird way of showing it. but once she avoided him for long enough, he finally gave up.
now -- i think it also might be fun to combine this with "undo it." you stole my happy, you made me cry... see, it fits, right? just gives us more material to work with. it's not uncommon for thorne to fall in love and then want to take it back. usually because the guy doesn't want her anymore, although in this case, he did still want to be with her -- he just screwed up, big time (by treating her badly), and she didn't want to be with him anymore.
now your photos don't have a picture frame, and i never say your name, and i never will. and all your things, well, i threw 'em in the trash, and i'm not even sad. now you only have yourself to blame for playing all those stupid games, you're always gonna be the same. oh, no, you'll never change... this song is epic, i swear. thorne threw out all of the pictures of him that she had and, of course, anything of his that she could find around her apartment. oh, and she never plans on saying his name again. she refers to him as it or him or that. so... any takers?
