"YOU LOOK REALLY FAMILIAR! HAVE I SEEN YOU BEFORE?""I have no idea. I don't recognize you, so... but, I do get that a lot actually. People say I remind them of someone which I hate because...well, I won't start on that rant. You want to know the secret? A full head of crazy, light brown hair and an abnormally long neck. You have that and people will always think they know you.
"SO, WHAT DO YOU LIKE?""I'm just going to pretend that this isn't creepy. I like photography. Obviously. I mean, that's what I am going to school for, get paid for and pretty much spend all of my free time doing. I like nature, and not just when it is bright and sunny out. I actually prefer when weather has a little more character. Maybe that is just my artistic, moody side coming out but it's true. I like drinking. What college student doesn't? I like smoking; pot, not cigarettes. I like music. Mostly jazz, pop, folk. I love people-watching. Not in the creepy way, just in the interesting sort of way. I like physical contact and not just sex. Although I do like sex. I love hugging, holding hands, cuddling. Anything just to be close to people. Do you need more? "
"AND THE THINGS YOU COULD LIVE WITHOUT? WHAT ABOUT THEM?""Let me get this straight. I do not like the beatles. I know my name is Jude and I was not named after the song. Before you get all huffy with me, let me explain. I like some of their songs but I really only know a couple of them. I just don't like them very much. I don't like talking about myself. Yeah, this is really hard for me. I have always been the person behind the lens, you know? At the same time, I don't like people that talk constantly just to talk. Everyone needs a little silence. I could definitely live without onions, can't stand them. "
"AND WHAT ARE THE THINGS YOU JUST CAN'T STAND?""I can't stand when people interrupt other people talking. Bugs the shit out of me. I also can't stand it when people want to get me to talk about my problems or my history. Mind your own damn business."
"DO YOU HAVE ANY BAD HABITS? WHAT ABOUT GOOD ONES?""Hmm. I tend to get myself into these moods or funks. It's not that I'm depressed, it's just...alright, we will call it depressed. It's not good for me and I know it, but I can't help it. I also smoke weed and drink pretty often. Just helps soften the sharp edges, you know? Good habits? That is a good question. I guess, I keep things neat and clean, is that a good habit? "
"OH, REALLY? WELL, HOW ABOUT THE SECRETS?""This has to stay between you and me. I came to St. Thomas to run away. To run away from the disaster my life had become back in Boston. And I am trying to pretend like nothing ever happened. Yet it hurts...every day."
"AND THE FEARS?""My fear is that I have already met and lost my soulmate. What if she was it? What if I don't find anyone else? Being alone. It scares the shit out of me. Also, clowns."
"DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL TALENTS?""Urm, photography. Also, I am a bad ass cook."
"AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, WHAT'S YOUR RELATIONSHIP STATUS/HISTORY?""Single and if you are wondering, yes, I am bisexual. I lean more towards girls but I have found guys I am attracted to. But yea, single. Ever since Audrey. We met our senior year of high school and it was that moment that you knew, you knew that you would spend the rest of your life together. We were inseparable. Well, college happened and of course we had our problems, like every couple does. Seven months ago, I found out that she had cheated on me with some frat boy. Of course, I got angry. Said some things I didn't mean. I left her on the corner of the street. That night, I got a call from the hospital saying that she had overdosed on alcohol and pain-killers. She was dead. I was going to marry that woman. "
