Icarus is a genuinely nice guy who sees no reason to act like a bad-ass or cause trouble. He's not much of a party guy as he used to be as a teenager. His exterior might seem a bit cold to most; especially strangers because he isn't much of a talkative person. He is seen joining socials though rarely actively participates in such. He prefers to watch the others enjoy themselves though sometimes he may join in for a little fun.
He likes being outdoors and doing something to get his heart pumping because he's an adrenaline junkie as well, known for his love of heights and dreams of flying; recording every "stunt" he does on a video camera and posting it on the internet for fun. Icarus is usually a very sober man though at times he can be a heavy drinker once you get the bottle in his hand. When He is drunk he tends to get a little out of hand --who doesn't-- but he becomes a psycho pyromaniac, setting random things on fire (likely nothing to get him into too much trouble, just something to make a little light, such as a t-shirt). There's never been a time however where he was an angry drunk, nor has he been a depressed drunk either; actually the alcohol helps loosen him out of his seemingly quiet exterior. Generally, he's a happy guy unless there is something that shifts his nature.
He can get weird and is generally an enigmatic. It makes him famous for being unapproachable to most because they just can't seem to understand his nature. One can't really say that he's a basketcase or anti-social, but he doesn't have many friends because his differences are intimidating.
He's known for creating eccentric art and abstract from inspiration of the world as he sees it. Icarus tends to vandalize from time to time, not only on buildings and cars and on people as well. It's his trademark insult to mark his signature on someone with spraycans. If you wrong him or others he cars about in any way and get caught by him he'll most likely mug you then raid you with spraycans. In his world, everything is a piece of paper; he has a bit of a fetish for face paint; or rather, paint in general, and also has a thing for dying his hair as well. He also is known for having a stomach of steel, being known to down some horrible cooking without getting sick in the stomach.
Sometimes, despite his boundless energy, Icarus can get lazy or he'll have the personality of an old geezer porcupine(old and grouchy). At such times, he's a home-body, with the ability to sleep for an entire day.
Icarus loves children, mostly because of their great imaginations and boundless energy. With them, he is light voiced and surprisingly playful. He has no problem playing house or tea party with the girls and he'll definitely play sports with the boys. He's justified and chivalrous to most women, and can be a bit of a push-over if they are strong-willed.
Icarus was born in Brooklyn, New York as Ikerine, son of a sixteen year old mother; the youngest of two brothers. Ever since he was a child, he was wild and adventurous. Though living with a young mother and gangster father never was easy. His father was the leader of a gang called "La Familia". notorious for their use and training of children as gang members. As the youngest son, he was overshadowed by his brother and therefore was paid less attention than his brother, the first born son. In a way, it saved him from becoming a gang member too far down to turn away from the dangerous life. His mother was able to put him to school in hopes that he would turn away from the gangsters life.
When he was ten, he began dirt biking, more out of fun rather than competition. He wasn't the best at it, but was good enough to do tricks without getting hurt. His elementary years were filled with trouble; trouble for the teachers, that was. He was the class clown, the kid that could never sit still or be quiet or follow rules on the play ground. It once led him to break his collar bone on day, because he was fooling around on top the high set of monkey bars meant for the older kids.
In middle school, he got a better grip of himself and did fairly well academic wise. He was on the track team and the basketball team by then spending his days away from home as a skater and a rebellious brat. Icarus began to go through a stage in life that made him angry at everything and everyone for no apparent reason and one day that anger was what made him discover his powers. Seeing what his son could do was all it took for his father to introduce him to the world of "La Familia". He ended up with his first gun and being initiated completely into the gang as well, though he was more focused on cherishing the time he spent with the father who never seemed to have time for him. Soon, though, it became a battle between him and his older brother, fighting for the attention of his father and leading into a horrid sibling rivalry.
In high school, he was seen as the "bad boy" type, being that some of the student knew out his gangster lineage. It made his time as a teen more lonelier then the average student or filled with high tensions, at that time he was pretty mellowed down and quiet until his junior and senior year in which he became more affiliated and active as a gang member. He became a partier early in life, having his first drink, surprisingly, with his brother who had seemed to settle his qualms with Ike.
By graduation Ikerine was known in code name as "Icarus" after the greek mythology and his passion for "flight". He actively hustled, participated in heists and fights for gang territory, all the while making himself known in the underground arenas set up in an old abandon warehouse used for in-ring fighting and gambling by rival groups. Three months after his graduation, his father was shot and killed by rivals during a territory negotiation. His older brother took over the gang and convinced Ikerine to move out of New York and start his life all over.
He did so, moving to Oregon and changing his first name completely to Icarus. He submitted his application to St. Thomas Academy of Arts School in hopes to be a stuntsman and getting a job as a bouncer and a tattooist to cover his tuition. After his freshman year, he was almost expelled after his gang affiliation was found out (as he "lied" on his application) but after convincing them that he had become a better person on entering the school, they suspended him for a while then let him return. By that time, however, most of the students had heard rumours and gossip about him and he became one: a target for the boldest of bullies and two: avoidable to most.
He eventually graduated from St. Thomas and retained his occupation as a tattooist, but started his own online show known as "Project Flightless" where he is known for showing off different types of stunts. It was only later on, by his online show that he was hired by movie directors as a stunt double and even sometimes as a supporting character.
