Travis finally surfaced from his bedroom. Looking at the lackluster wall clock hanging on there wall it read 2:50 p.m. Holy shit he muttered under his breath. He had partied so late into the night... well morning that he had almost slept till three. He slowly opened the fridge and rummaged through until he discovered the last bottle of water hiding behind the spoiled carton of milk his roommates were just to lazy to trash. He shook his head as he cracked open the bottle, his temples throbbing. He usually was immune to hangovers, but he must have consumed even more then even his body was used to. He looked around, the place trashed. A plethora of empty red cups scattered along the beer stained rug. From the condition of the room it was fair enough say he had thrown one sick ass party... but the night was just one huge haze. He couldn't remember a damn thing.
Travis slowly made his way to the couch when suddenly a blonde emerged from his bedroom wrapped in nothing but a towel. He sat for a moment, completely stunned. He didn't recollect hearing the shower water running. He gave her a seductive grin, "Is it my birthday?" In return he got nothing but a blank stare, completely oblivious to what he was talking about. "You don't remember last night? Jesus christ... you really were gone." Travis shook his head. So apparently he had thrown and insane party and slept with an insanely hot broad and he could not remember one piece of it. He put his hands on his temples, still searing with pain. "Apparently..." Travis could not even fathom how much he must have consumed to not even remember banging some hot chick. He shrugged, "I am going to go for a walk... stay as long as you need." Travis grabbed his phone and slowly exited the dorm. If he didn't feel like shit he would have made a second pass at that girl. Taken advantage of her, but he just needed some crisp air. He needed to get out of that crap whole, maybe even remember something from the previous night... though he doubted it. The sky was vacant of any clouds and there was a minute breeze that whipped the back of his neck as he made his way down a back street. Abby Lake was his favorite place to just chill. Plus there was actual civilization there. Travis preferred a place with people. The higher the number the more pleased he generally was. He never really liked isolating himself. He didn't need an abundance of privacy or time to just be by himself. Wasn't really his cup of tea. As he began to grow closer, he started to regret leaving that blonde behind. The odds of her still being there when he returned was about as as great as him remembering what the hell took place last night. Finally reaching his destination, he sat back for awhile against a colossal oak tree. He liked to watch the people who migrated to the lake, some humored him. For instance those adolescent teenagers who have their picnic baskets and look so infatuated with each other and in love. Then the other half of him wanted to vomit when he witnessed it and there was always one couple that fit that description to the tee. He continued to let his eyes search, a few girls passed him and he undressed them with his eyes and finished with a arrogant smile. He could have them if he really wanted. Travis had high standards though, they had to be sexy or he wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole. Some ask quality or quanity... he liked both. His eyes stopped on one girl though, a very familiar girl. Her name was on the tip of his tongue but he remembered her for the soul purpose he had hooked up with her awhile back. Travis generally remembered the faces and names of the girls he slept with, he wasn't that bad... but then again he had a blonde up in his dorm and he had no fucking clue what her name was. She was coming closer in his direction. She looked exactly the same, still sexy. She walked with a confidence that he loved in a girl. Then her name, it came to him. "Hey Mariah," he said with a half grin. "Long time no see, though last I remember I saw a lot of you." He laughed a little at that. He was an arrogant son of a bitch and he knew it.

Mariah woke up around eleven o'clock this morning. She was usually a girl who loved to sleep in, if you woke her before she was ready, that was it, she would be in a bad mood for most of the day. But today was far from that, Mariah slept all that she could today and just as she stretched her thin body, her phone buzzed letting her know that she had a new text message. She reached over to her night stand and looked at who it was from. Her agent needed her to come in for a few hours for a small photo shoot. Groaning, she climbed out of bed and threw on a tank top and some sweat pants. She would change into something better when she got there.
Hours passed and Mariah was looking all dolled up in her outfit and make up. It was about three in the afternoon when she got off of work. She had talked her boss into letting her keep a few things from the shoot and she pieced together the outfit she currently had on now.
Instead of going straight home, she decided to take a detour and walk around the town, she had a driver take her car home because it was a nice clear day outside and everyone needed to take a breather every once in a while. So she walked along the side walk and eventually found herself coming up onto the lake. She was in a pretty good mood. Mariah was in her normal confident, sarcastic self and she always walked like she owned the place, to her, her walk came natural from so many years in the modeling biz.
She looked around at all of the people that were here right now, it mostly seemed like young people and she frowned and scoffed at a couple that were sucking face. Honestly, they really needed a room. Sure Mariah was all into having fun, but she was classy and didn't slobber all over people in public. As she walked she heard a familiar voice that directed his words toward her. She looked over and seen a guy watching her. Smiling slightly, she continued walking until she came closer to the guy. He looked too familiar, and then it hit her. This was Travis, they had hooked up one night and then she had never talked or hung out with him after that. But now here they were. She slowed her walk when she came upon him, and then to a stop when she was right in front of Travis. She smirked, "Yea, the last time I seen you, you sure was enjoying yourself." She said as her smirk grew to a smile. "So what brings you here?" She asked him making small talk. She never really talked to people she had a one night stand with and right now was the first time she ever ran into one a second time.OUTFIT

There were certain things you need to know about Travis. First, he was about as outgoing as one could possibly fathom. He could not make heads or tails of those people who actually preferred to be isolated. It made no sense to him. Travis always wanted to surround himself with people. That was what he lived for really, was his friends. They say that family is always the most important. That when everything in your life hits a shit hole, or your friends back you into a corner, you will always have your family to turn to. Travis had his mother, and he loved her but he wasn't exactly close with her. He was secretly still full of animosity from the divorce. He felt his mom had driven his father away, who had not tried to even see his son in over a year, and how she coped with it was by putting all their belongings in a box and moving to South Dakota. As if she thought leaving Texas and running away from your problems was going to magically fix what she created.
Some people thought that Travis didn't really have any huge set of problems. That he didn't have any of his own real trials or tribulations. Sure, divorces were common. It was not like he was the only kid going through a situation like so but it didn't make it any less easy to cope with. Travis was always so close to his father, always looked up to him in a certain aspect. He didn't understand how he could just pack up and leave for over a year now. There was not even a simple phone call. It made Travis constantly question if his father even cared about him. To not even a pick up a phone and call to at least see how Travis was doing in the entire ordeal was hurtful to say the least, simply because it was his own father.
Travis laughed inside as Mariah made a sly comment about her remembering him enjoying himself. Well it was sex after all, and sex was meant to be enjoyed, not a chore. Anytime he could lay a insanely hot girl he was pretty happy with himself. But in the end sex was all the same to him. As long as the girl didn't lay on the bed like a dead fish he didn't complain and generally enjoyed himself. He honestly didn't remember many details about Mariah and their one night of ron-de-vu. He remembered her face because she was clearly a sight for sore eyes. He remembered her telling him she was a model, not much of a surprise there really. He knew he was tipsy that night, not completely gone, but not completely with it either.
He looked over at Mariah, a slight smirk slipped across his face as the corners of his mouth turned upward. She wasn't one of those typical skanks that you would expect out of her. She had class, which Travis admired in a sense. He could not stand any whores and wouldn't even let them breath in his direction. He shrugged at her comment, "Eh, it was alright I guess," he said flatly. Truth be told, he just couldn't remember a damn thing from that night. It felt actually slightly out of place talking to her now, even small talk in general, he never spoke at any girl after hooking up wit them. That was really the rule of the game because some girls could get attached pretty fast. Then came the twenty missed calls, ten recent test messages, five new voice mails also known as a guys worst nightmare. "I woke up with a massive hangover, needed some fresh air." He looked away for a moment as he caught a girl glancing at him. She gave her a quick wink and looked back at Mariah, "I was going to ask you the same question."

Mariah wasn't necessarily one of those girls you could just walk up to and strike up any random conversation. She was one of those girls that you either liked her or you didn't. She was a nice girl, sure. But she could also be very sarcastic a lot of the time as well a hint of impatience in her tone. She had friends but she mostly stayed in her circle of friends. Now she also wasn't one of those people who would just ignore you if you did walk up to her and talk to her. If you did happen to talk to her, she would be polite to you unless you gave her a reason not too, just like how she usually is. Some people don't get her sense of humor or sarcasm, but those who do, get her very well.
Mariah looked at the guy standing in front of her. She remembered back when they had first met. It was at some random house party that Mariah went to with a friend and she had been looking at Travis for a while at the party. From fleeting glances to having a few drinks on her side, they would up hooking up. She understood as well as he that this was supposed to be a one night stand. Mar wasn't the type of girl who would stalk up their phones or face books after a hookup. That just wasn't her, she would exchange numbers, yes. But if the guy wanted to see her again, he would call her.
But Mariah hadn't expected to see Travis again. Not ever, but here he was, standing in front of her and they were making small talk. She couldn't say it wasn't awkward, because in fact, it kind of was. He told her that he thought that it was all right. That made her frown, but the way he nonchalantly said it made her smile. Travis was very good looking and he had seemed to carry himself well, like he knew he was hot or something, and naturally, Mariah found that attractive.
She looked at him and just smiled, "Well, then I guess that's a shame then." She said as she looked over him once more. When he told her why he was here, Mar smiled a little, " Well, last time I seen you, you looked like you were going to have a nice hangover the next day." She stated to him, just trying to lighten the mood and get rid of this awkwardness. "I just came from a shoot and decided to walk back home." She said as she answered to him while she was here.

If Travis had one title at the academy, it was the 'party boy' without a doubt. He was not really one for labels. He liked to get to know a person before he actually started to judge them on who they were as a person. It was easy to judge someone by their outer shell. People already having these pre-conceived notions about you. People did that so easily, with little to no effort. Travis knew the majority of the people that roamed the halls of St. Thomas Academy. He didn't bother with them all, but he could put a name to a face for sure. If you were looking for a place to find Travis, the best place to search would be any big party. Usually word of mouth went around by Thursday where the bigger party's were taking place. Everyone was usually discrete because it was easy to be discovered and possibly have the party broken up. Travis never touched drugs of any sort though, just liquor. When he drank he really loosened up and became what some would call the life of the party. Everything just seemed only better with a few beers... or a few dozen.
Yeah, Travis was more the arrogant type. Maybe a little too arrogant for most peoples taste. He got a bad rap from a lot of people for the way he carried himself and his overall demeanor. He knew he wasn't even the best looking guy at St. Thomas, not the worst by any means, but there were plenty of other hefty models around that school. His dad was always very confident, he held himself to this standard, and he didn't care what people thought. Travis modeled his dad in a lot of ways growing up, and still did in a lot of ways today. Part of it probably had to do with the fact too that Travis got almost any girl under the sun that he had his eye on. He could only remember one girl at the time that didn't care for him in the slightest bit and wouldn't even glance in his direction... apparently it was because he hooked up with her sister too. So yeah, his ego was inflamed a little bit. But Mariah carried a confidence about her too. In a lot of ways, they weren't that different even though he hardly knew anything about her. There was not much actual conversation that night they hooked up. What he knew about Mariah was the bits and pieces he heard from others around school. Apparently she was not one who was much for commitment either. But hey, they were young, it was not like they needed a soul mate at eighteen.
He listened now as she commented on how it was a shame he thought it was alright. He could suck up his pride, lie, and tell her it was great but he would be lying and Travis liked to keep his pride. He couldn't remember much of anything that night, though from the looks of her, he was sure she was not slouch by any means. He was pretty sure she had enough experience under her belt too. "Yeah, shame." he said in a rather monotone voice. He gave her a playful smirk now to try to lighten the mood, "Yeah I don't know about you but I am starting to see a pattern here." He had never really talked to anyone after sleeping with them, so this was unfamiliar territory for him. "That's cool, and how is the modeling thing going for you?" He could start to feel himself loosen up as he propped himself up against another tree. Travis was in the academy for acting, and he would like to say there was something going on there, but he really couldn't. It was almost nonexistent.
